The National Biosafety Authority (NBA) was established by the Biosafety Act No. 2 of 2009 to exercise general supervision and control over the transfer, handling and use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). GMOs are products of Modern Biotechnology that involve the manipulation of the genetic material of organisms through genetic engineering procedures.

Interested candidates may obtain tender documents from Supply Chain Management Office, National Biosafety Authority, at the Commission for University Education Campus, Redhill Road (Route 108),off Limuru Road during working hours (8.00am to 4.00pm) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 3,000.00 (Three thousand) per document; per each.
Completed Request for proposal (RFP) tender documents in plain, sealed envelopes clearly marked reference number as above in your specialized area and addressed to:

should be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Authority™s reception on or before Thursday 16th May 2013 at 10.30am.
Returned RFP will be opened immediately thereafter at the Authority™s boardroom in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the NBA Board Room.
